Terms of use
Last updated: 1 October 2026
PixHell deletes photos and videos when you tell it to. By using it, you accept that decisions about what to delete are yours, and that PixHell and its developer are not liable for any photos or videos that are deleted — intentionally, unintentionally or by accident.
Agreeing to these terms
By downloading, installing or using PixHell, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. PixHell is made by an independent developer (“the developer”), who can be reached at the contact address below.
What PixHell does
PixHell shows you photos and videos already on your device and lets you mark each one to keep or delete. Nothing is deleted until you confirm it, first in PixHell and then in Android's own dialog. Deleted items go to your device's Trash first, where Android keeps them for about 30 days. Emptying the Trash, in PixHell or anywhere else, deletes them permanently.
Your licence
PixHell is licensed to you for your personal use, not sold. The app, its name and its design belong to the developer. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or publish it under another name.
Provided as is
PixHell is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. The developer does not promise that the app is free of errors, that it works on every device, or that it will always be available.
Deleted photos and videos
You are solely responsible for what you mark, confirm and delete, and for keeping backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither PixHell nor the developer is liable for the loss, deletion, corruption or unavailability of any photo, video or other data, whether the deletion was intentional, unintentional or accidental, and whether it resulted from your own actions, an error in the app, the behaviour of Android, your device or another app, or any other cause.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, memories, profits or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, PixHell. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, the developer's total liability is limited to the amount you paid the developer through PixHell in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Where the law says otherwise
Some places do not allow certain warranties or liability to be excluded or limited. Where that is the case, these terms apply only as far as the law allows, and the rest of them stays in effect.
The optional tip
A tip unlocks the “Awesome edition”: the Stats page, with your all-time stats and achievements. It is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play under Google's terms, and refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Every cleanup feature stays free with or without a tip.
Changes to the app
The developer may change, suspend or stop offering PixHell, or any part of it, at any time. Photos and videos on your device are never affected by this: they stay where they are, in your gallery and in Android's Trash.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the app changes. The current version is always in the app and on this page, with the date it was last updated. If you keep using PixHell after a change, the updated terms apply.
